When you are considering becoming a customer, you'll first contact our New Business team. It's their job, among other things, to ensure our services are appropriate to your investment needs. Investing in penny shares isn't right for everyone and they will take you through a series of questions and checks to determine your suitability.

Are penny shares right for you?

We'll talk you through our Fact Find (any additional information you require can be found in the documents enclosed with this brochure), asking you about your attitudes to risk, your assets, and your retirement provision ­ all things that could determine whether or not you are suitable to be a City Equities customer. It might sound strange, but we actually have to do all this to ensure we are only dealing with investors for whom the increased risks associated with penny shares are acceptable. And quite simply we wouldn't have it any other way.
