On 1 September 2008 the Company released an announcement (number 4866C16, released at 16:59) confirming the total voting rights of the Company.
 
This announcement did not take into account the following transaction in the Company's own shares:
 
On 13 June 2008 the Company purchased 61,200 ordinary shares of 1p each for cancellation representing 0.17% of the issued share capital at that time at a price of 87.5p per share.
 
Accordingly, the Company's Total Voting Rights Announcement of 1 September 2008 should have read as follows:
 
Pursuant to Rule 5.6.1 of the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Acuity VCT 3 Plc notifies the market of the total voting rights of the Company.
 
The Company's capital consists of 34,956,673 ordinary shares of one penny each with voting rights.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 34,956,673.  The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.
 
The figure of 34,956,673 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Acuity VCT 3 Plc under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
