New Britain Palm Oil Limited ("NBPOL" or the "Company")

The Company has today been notified that Antonio Monteiro de Castro, a non-executive director of 
NBPOL, purchased an aggregate 50,000 ordinary shares in the Company on the London Stock 
Exchange during the period of 4 and 5 November 2008 at an average price of 212p.

Following this transaction, Mr de Castro holds a total beneficial interest in 150,000 ordinary shares, 
equivalent to 0.10 per cent. of the Company's current issued share capital.
