Transaction in Own Shares
Parkwood Holdings PLC announces that on 19 March 2008 the Company purchased for
Treasury 43,750 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Capital of the Company
('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 108.0 pence per share.

The capital of the Company consists of 19,290,420 Ordinary Shares with a
nominal value of 1p each, with voting rights.

The Company holds 131,250 ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 19,159,170.
