Cancellation of admission to AIM

Smart Telecom plc announces that, following the passing of all resolutions at an
Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company on 31 October 2006, the
cancellation of admission of the Company's ordinary shares of EUR 0.05 each to
trading on AIM will take effect from 7.00am on 29 June 2007.
The Board of Smart believe that it would not be suitable for the Company's
shares to be admitted to trading on AIM following the imminent disposal of the
business, assets and liabilities to Smart YuRoE Broadband Limited (formerly
called Calally Limited) as its only asset will be a 10% shareholding in a
private company.
Following the cancellation, the Company's shares will not be traded on an
exchange and there will be no formal mechanism for carrying out transactions in
the Company's shares.
