Access Intelligence (ACC) featured in the Sunday Express this week, which suggested that interim results, to be released on Wednesday, are expected to be better than the last six months. Broker Corporate Synergy said that the recent acquisition of Ridgeway Technology should push the Company into profit.

The Independent on Saturday reported that shares in Award International (AWI) had suffered following disappointing figures from the Company and the share price remained at 2.00p during Monday Morning.

The Guardian on Saturday noted a ”solid debut” for Eruma (ERU) and the shares remained unchanged at 6.75p this morning.

Osmetech (OMH) appeared in the Daily Express on Saturday. The article reported a deal to buy Clinical Micro Sensors from Motorola in a deal worth up to £1.4m in an attempt to strengthen its position within diagnostic testing. The article also noted that the Company is raising £11m via a placing. Despite this news, the share price remained unchanged at 1.80p this morning.

Saturday’s Times noted that news of profits moving towards break-even for Patsystems (PTS) was responsible for a surge forward in the share price, although Monday morning saw no change in the price at 14.00p.

Petards Group (PEG) featured in Saturday’s Guardian, which highlighted bad news for shareholders, as the shares were suspended pending clarification. The piece noted that traders suspect that this could be related to the restatement of accounts. For further details see the announcement below.

Saturday’s Daily Mail provided commentary on the endeavours of Subsea Resources (SUB) as recovery on its first project, codenamed Ella, gets underway. The piece commented that however complicated it sounds the business is relatively simple and concluded that it provides a risky, but fascinating proposition. Monday morning’s session saw the shares increase by 0.25p to 28.25p.
