The Sunday Telegraph included an article titled “Architects’ firm aims to build up to a grander design”, concerning Aukett Fitzroy Robinson (AUK). The piece noted the CEO’s bemusement at the strength of the Company compared to weakness of its share price, with turnover of £22.5m and pre-tax profits of £2.5m in the year to September 2008. It continued that there are no plans to take the Company private, due to belief that market sentiment will return, pointing towards growth in the Gulf or Russia rather than the UK and detailing a meeting with the largest construction firm in Abu Dhabi, which could deliver £2m of fees in the current year. This was compared to slowdown in the UK and the report commented, “Smaller Company investors who are willing to take a contrarian view towards the construction sector may be interested in this enterprise” though concluded, “They should wait to see that Auckett delivers the full-year numbers as promised and then consider investing in the business.” These column inches failed to impact the share price however, which remained 7.625p this morning.
Henderson Morley (HML) appeared in Saturday’s Times in the “Deal of the Day” section, which commented on increase in the share price as Chairman Andrew Knight bought 500k shares. It went on to reiterate news from May regarding the sale of rights to specific technologies, after failing to get a good sale price for the Company as a whole. The share price was unchanged at 0.80p following this press attention.

Penny Shares Online - penny shares research and information service.
There is an extra risk of losing money when shares are bought in some smaller companies including 'Penny Shares'. There is a big difference between the buying price and the selling price of these shares. If they have to be sold immediately, you may get back much less than you paid for them or you may have difficulty in selling them. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The price may change quickly and it may go down as well as up. You could lose every penny put into a particular share.
