The Mail on Sunday noted the proposed change of name and focus of Addleisure (ADE) to Fitbug, a pedometer that measures calories burned. The article provided a brief review of the Company’s past problems, though the shares were unaffected, remaining 1.25p this morning.

Origo Partners (OPP) appeared in today’s Daily Express, which noted that the Company is backing Aqualyng, a firm that is about to build its first desalination plant in China. This was also picked up on by today’s Independent, which quoted Bernt Osthus, Chairman of Aqualyng, describing the deal as a “break-through”. The shares were unchanged at 15.50p following this press attention, however.

The weekend’s Financial Times featured Verona Pharma (VRP), noting that the shares have been among the best performers of the year, but are a third off their peak. It went on to highlight Director buying in the stock, which was 0.50p higher at 13.50p earlier today.
