Global Petroleum directors slash holdings

Oil & gas producer Global Petroleum said three of its directors had sold a total of 4.2m shares for a total of £1.37m.

Executive chairman John Armstrong sold 1.2m shares at 32.6p while fellow directors Peter Blakey and Peter Taylor both sold 1.5m each at the same price.

Following the sales, Armstrong holds 1.06m shares, which represents 0.6% of the company. Blakey and Taylor hold, directly and indirectly, 27.4m shares each in the group, representing 15.7% of the company.
