Head of TUI Travel in Central Europe buys stake

Volker Bottcher, managing director for Central Europe of the tour operator and cruise group TUI Travel, bought a total of 18,500 shares in the company in late December, the company said.

Bottcher, 48, bought the shares for a total of £51,808.

The company's shares fell this week, after its parent TUI announced a fundraising of up to €500m though the issue of equity backed bonds in TUI Travel.
