OMG confident for 2009

Film animation specialist OMG reported a strong rise in annual revenue and is confident that is well positioned for 2009 despite the economic climate.

Adjusted pre-tax profit slipped to £2.1m in the twelve months ended 30 September 2008 from £2.2m the year before. Revenue for the year increased 34% to £26.2m.

"We enter 2009 well positioned for the year ahead and have a great deal to be excited about despite the economic climate," said chief executive officer Nick Bolton.

OMG said it has tightened its financial and operational controls and reduced costs early in the new financial year.

The dividend has been maintained at 0.115p.
