Sales director quits NetServices

Telecommunications network provider NetServices expects full-year profit to be in line with market expectations, despite lengthening sales cycles.

The company said that margins have been maintained and outstanding payments recovered from certain customers, enabling the company to stay on track despite difficult economic conditions.

New business revenues are becoming harder to predict, as sales prospects are taking longer to convert into contracts.

The company said it remains in discussion with prospective partners.

Sales director Philip Wedgwood has resigned with the board with immediate effect to pursue fresh career opportunities.

Paul Foley, formerly head of sales at O2 UK, will join the NetServices board as Director of Sales and Business Development.
