FTS Formula swung into interim pre-tax losses after two of its customers delayed project implementation, while there were also delays on some projects coming on stream.

Pre-tax losses came in at $3.2m compared with the $2.2m profit from the same period last year. Revenue rose slightly to $15m from $14.5m previously.

Alpha Airports said group sales in the first half of the current year increased by 4% over the same period last year.

The group said it expects full year performance to remain in line with forecasts, though it does anticipate some weakness in its Sri Lanka Retail business due to local security issues.

Share in Angus & Ross rose after the group said it encountered mineralized intersections in all ten Glacier Zone drill holes assayed to date. Zone of mineralization traced to 170 metres below surface, it said.
