Small caps round-up: Oasis Healthcare, White Nile, Universe

Corporate dentistry firm Oasis Healthcare has recommended the increased 94p per share offer from private equity firm Duke Street Capital.

As a result it has withdrawn its recommendation for the 91p per share offer from rival bidder ADP Healthcare.

Oil explorer White Nile has apparently been asked to withdraw from Block Ba in Southern Sudan.

In a statement, the group said it was contacting Sudanese government officials to clarify the situation. "The board retains its belief that the Company's licence remains legally binding," it added.

Shares in Universe jumped after the group said its operating subsidiary, HTEC Limited, had won two contracts with existing clients worth just under £1m.
