Tecteon signs bluetooth licence deal

Voice and audio solutions provider Tecteon has signed its first licensing agreement in the Bluetooth market with a headset for QSTIK.

QSTIK launched its first product, a premium mobile Bluetooth headset which includes Tecteon technology, this month.

In an initial 12-month period of mutual exclusivity, QSTIK will take delivery of a minimum of 100,000 units, although both companies anticipate higher sales volumes.

"This represents a great opportunity for Tecteon to enter the mass mobile market and I am delighted with the performance of our team, delivering such an integrated technology in such a short period of time," said Tecteon director Masoud Ahmadi.

The group added that to further develop its technology, it has placed 23% of its shareholding in the OFEX-listed company Dominion Energy at 2p per share, raising £300,000 before expenses. It cuts Tecteon's remaining stake in Dominion to 39.2%
