ToLuna boss makes maiden sale

Online market research services specialist ToLuna announced today that its boss has sold a huge chunk of shares in the group.

Frédéric-Charles-Petit, chief executive of ToLuna, has sold 300,000 shares at a price of 185p per share. The sale netted Petit around £555,000 and left him with a stake of about 4.63m shares.

The news came as it also emerged that Eurovestech had also placed 2.4m ToLuna shares at 185p each, equivalent to 6.79% of the issued share capital, for £4.5m. Eurovestech now holds 18m shares, equivalent to 50.2% of the company.

ToLuna only floated in May last year although the shares have steered a fairly steady course rising by around 150% since then. Today's news marks the first sale by any director in the company.
