Vantis on track despite difficult environment

Accounting, business and tax advisory group Vantis said it has continued to perform in line with expectations during an increasingly difficult business environment.

During the first half of 2009, the change in business mix has become more pronounced reflecting changing market conditions and the counter-cyclical nature of the Vantis business model, the group added.

Operating margins remain robust and in line with expectations, while cash generation is also on track and has enabled investment in the growing business recovery division.

"We continue to develop all our service lines across the United Kingdom and remain confident that the group should continue to perform in line with management expectations by maximising its defensive earnings streams," said chief executive Paul Jackson.
