Velti confident as revenues power ahead

Mobile phone advertising software group Velti's revenues rose by more than 80% last year with another strong year predicted for 2008.

Revenues rose by 84% in 2007 to €19.9m, from €10.8m, with pre-tax profits up by 64% to €4.5m, from €2.7m.

"2007 has been a very successful year for Velti with strong revenue growth, excellent profit generation and a significant increase in net cash In 2008, Velti will continue to maintain its primary focus on providing mobile marketing and advertising solutions for mobile operators, advertising agencies and media groups," chief executive Alexandros Moukas said.

"In 2008 we expect to see accelerated demand for our services as mobile marketing and advertising budgets continue to grow significantly. The board sees excellent prospects for delivering a further year of very strong growth," he added.
