Visonic chairman shows confidence

Yaacov Kotlicki, chairman of Visonic, spent £1.1m in the securities systems specialist following last month's drop in half-year profits.

Kotlicki increased his stake by 4.8% to 71.56% after he bought 2m shares at 55p each.

Last month, Visonic posted a decline in pre-tax profit to $1m for the six month to 30 June, against $4.4m last time.

The firm previously alarmed its shareholders after issuing two profit warnings this year.
