Vividas cheers Rip Curl licence deal

Video streaming specialist Vividas advanced on news that an initial evaluation agreement with surfing company Rip Curl has been replaced with a full scale licence agreement.

The first event to be streamed under the new licence will be the Rip Curl Pro Search World Tournament which takes place in Bali from 30 July.

Vividas' video streaming technology will provide live footage and on-demand highlights of the event to online viewers.

"The Rip Curl licence agreement is representative of the type and size of arrangement for which the Vividas technology is ideally suited," said chief executive Paul Neville.

"We believe that the live event market represents an exciting growth area for the group and this deal demonstrates the benefits which our technology delivers to such events," he added.
