West China Cement names Po Ling Low FD

Aim listed West China Cement has named Po Ling Low as its finance director with immediate effect.

Po Ling, 33, succeeds Zhenzun Tian who will focus 'on other functions at WCC.'
He is responsible for the company's Lantian business, which is its largest operation.

Commenting on the new appointment, chairman Robbie Robertson said, "Po Ling has worked for us in various consulting capacities since before the IPO in 2006 and is an outstanding talent. Her wide experience internationally and in China, as well as her track record with us, make her a strong addition to our management team."

CEO Zhang Jimin added, "Po Ling has made a significant contribution to the dramatic growth we have achieved, while acting as a consultant."
