John Coghlan, a non-executive at Yell Group, has more than doubled his stake in the UK directories publisher.

Coghlan increased his stake to 117,000 after acquiring 65,000 shares at £4.99 each.

Earlier in the week, Yell revealed that year end results exceeded expectations and said the competition commission's investigation into classified directories advertising was still continuing.
