betInternet to cash in on World Cup

Global on-line gaming group, betInternet, announced today that it is hoping to capitalise on the looming football World Cup.

The group said it remains on target to launch a new version of its website prior to next month's football World Cup.

"In addition to the sportsbook, the website will include a new random number generator casino, as well as a suite of fixed odds games, which are expected to contribute significantly to the group's revenues," said betInternet.

The group added that its strategy to widen the customer reach of the sportsbook is continuing as planned adding that it can now accept wagers from customers based in the US.

BetInternet added that in its last full trading week it achieved turnover of more than £3m, generated through its sportsbook, live dealer casino, and its pari-mutuel business, European Wagering Services.
