The Weekend's Comments

The Sunday Express, in its 'Ones to Watch' column, advised that shares in Fulcrum Pharma (FUL) are attractively priced at 12.25p. The recently announced placing to raise £3.25m surprised the market and the shares were marked down accordingly. The Sunday Express, however, points out that Fulcrum is 'sound with long-term potential' and has plans for a presence in the US, a market, which accounts for over a third of the world's spend on research and development. It also intends to overhaul its Japanese base and expand its UK and European operations. At 11.43 the shares were up 1.25p to 13.5p from Friday's close.
