The Weekend's Comments
The Sunday Express tipped Mice (MEG) as a 'Buy' in its 'Ones to Watch' column. Although the acquisition of rival Expocentric has added to costs, over the long term it should contribute to corporate growth. The newspaper believes that Mice's international presence and range of services will leave it well positioned to meet the demands of multinational corporations. The Express is also encouraged by the record order book and by high enquiry levels. At 11.19 the shares had nudged up a penny on Friday's close to 56p.
Several newspapers commented on the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) at e-primefinancial (EPF.L), which is scheduled for this Friday. At the meeting shareholders will have the opportunity to vote on proposals from Recovery Partners, led by former chief executive Gene Grant, who wants to gain control and use the Group's cash to develop software businesses. The Observer reckons the vote will, "go to the wire", while the Sunday Telegraph believes shareholders should "reject the proposals" and "give the current Board one last chance". The stock was unchanged on the day, trading at 3p, at 11.19.

Penny Shares Online - penny shares research and information service.
There is an extra risk of losing money when shares are bought in some smaller companies including 'Penny Shares'. There is a big difference between the buying price and the selling price of these shares. If they have to be sold immediately, you may get back much less than you paid for them or you may have difficulty in selling them. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The price may change quickly and it may go down as well as up. You could lose every penny put into a particular share.
