The Sunday Express mentions Osmetech (OMH) in its 'ones to watch' column and reports that revenues are set to rise by £5m a year, following the recent acquisition of US blood products company, OPTI. The benefits of a £1m investment by Roche and demand for the Group's new 'super-fast' bacterial vaginosis sensor are also reasons for optimism. The article concludes with the comment, "With a year-end price target of 5p the shares look attractive at 2.39p". On Monday morning at 9.34 the stock rallied by 0.26p to 2.65p, representing a 10.88% rise on the day so far.
In the Daily Express from Saturday, we learn that rumours of a stock overhang left maintenance services group Mears (MER) 0.25p lower on the day. On Monday morning, the shares had dropped by 0.75p to 67.5p at 9.34 from Friday's close.
Saturday's Daily Mail recaps on Virotec's (VTI) history to date and says results are due soon from a contaminated site in Portugal, where Bauxsol is being tested and on "hopes of reasonable success are rising" and furthermore "Two contracts could follow that would for the first time bring in real revenue". The 'Investment Extra' column concludes, "If the Group does land big orders, the shares could do very well, Risky, but an interesting punt". Virotec nudged up 0.25p to 9.25p by 9.34 on Monday.

Penny Shares Online - penny shares research and information service.
There is an extra risk of losing money when shares are bought in some smaller companies including 'Penny Shares'. There is a big difference between the buying price and the selling price of these shares. If they have to be sold immediately, you may get back much less than you paid for them or you may have difficulty in selling them. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The price may change quickly and it may go down as well as up. You could lose every penny put into a particular share.
