Electric Word (ELE) was featured in the Business' weekend issue in the 'Aim Investor' column. The investment newspaper believes that the shares 'remain a good bet for the long term' despite the share price doubling since last April. However, the Business also points out that the Company needs to be making £600,000 to justify its current valuation. The paper reckons once the profitability is reached, a takeover target by a larger group such as 'Euromoney or Informa looks likely within three years'. Shares in the Publisher were up by 0.38p on Monday morning to 9.25p.
The Sunday Telegraph tipped Tertiary Minerals (TYM) as a 'Buy' citing the likelihood of a joint venture partner emerging to share the costs of the tantalum deposit and the drilling programme in Finland, results of which are expected to be announced over the 'next few months'. The newspaper pointed out that the shares are highly speculative but wrote that if the drilling results are good, 'the shares will have a strong run'. The shares traded 3.5p higher on Monday morning at 20.50p.
The Sunday Telegraph reported that more than 40,000 Hiscox customers would be able to call Arc Risk Management's (ARC.L) Red24 to get advice on how to survive carjacking, stalkers, burglary and kidnapping from 1 March 2004. The shares remained unchanged at 1.75p this morning.
The Sunday Telegraph commented on the increase in the share price of Advanced Technology (AVT.L), which is in negotiations for its two-way communications technology. The columnist Edmond Jackson wrote that if the negotiations were successful, he would not expect much financial detail to emerge and that he is steeled for a further loss at the preliminary results. However, he believes that a contract could be a turning point for the business. Shares in Advanced Technology traded 0.25p lower at 37.50p this morning.
Quiktrak Network's (QTR.L) partnership with Reliance Monitoring Services was mentioned in the Independent, Daily Mail, FT and the Guardian on Saturday. The shares traded 1p higher on Monday morning at 24.50p.
Saturday's Independent commented on the high volume of shares that changed hands in Host Europe (HER) shares and mentioned that there was talk of someone building a stake in the Company. Shares in Host Europe were up by 2.6% at 2.52p this morning.
NB: Monday morning prices quoted were taken at the time of going to press at just after 10.43am.

Penny Shares Online - penny shares research and information service.
There is an extra risk of losing money when shares are bought in some smaller companies including 'Penny Shares'. There is a big difference between the buying price and the selling price of these shares. If they have to be sold immediately, you may get back much less than you paid for them or you may have difficulty in selling them. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The price may change quickly and it may go down as well as up. You could lose every penny put into a particular share.
