Fastfill (FFA) received a mention in the 'Who's Dealing' column of Saturday's Daily Express. The shares continued their recent upturn after executive director James Oliff took his maiden stake in the Group by snapping up 175,000 shares at 8.5p each. The shares were unchanged this morning at 8.50p.
The Guardian from Saturday reported on the resignation of Simon Eagle from three Aim listed companies as Chairman, including Fundamental-e Investments (FEI). This followed the decision by Merchant House to pull out of the acquisition of Simon Eagles' SP Bell, due to a "substantial change in the financial position of SP Bell". The paper said it had failed to contact Mr Eagle. Shares in Fundamental-e Investments remain suspended.
The Business said that recruitment services business Hot Group (HOT.L) is an example of a company that has the prospect of profiting from change and consolidation in their industry. The stock stands on a rating "more than reasonable for a growth business that could have easily regained a dotcom-type rating". If forecasts by house broker Numis Securities are achieved for this year of 1.2p in earnings, the shares will be on a prospective rating of 14 times, the paper noted. Shares in Hot Group ticked up by three quarters of a pence to 18.25p this morning.
Several papers on Saturday noted the 15% rise in the shares in Stanelco (SEO) from the previous day, after it filed patent applications for a packaging system that could revolutionise the meat packaging industry. The stock stood unmoved at 4.75p on Monday.

There is an extra risk of losing money when shares are bought in some smaller companies including 'Penny Shares'. There is a big difference between the buying price and the selling price of these shares. If they have to be sold immediately, you may get back much less than you paid for them or you may have difficulty in selling them. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The price may change quickly and it may go down as well as up. You could lose every penny put into a particular share.
