The ticking up of the shares in Aerobox (ARX) on Friday in response to an upbeat trading statement, gained the attention of Saturday’s Daily Mail. The shares were unchanged this morning at 15.25p.

The Daily Express on Saturday briefly noted that the CEO at Caplay (CLY) (the former Murray Financial) bought 250,000 shares at 2.6p on Friday. Caplay’s shares nudged up 0.13p on Monday to 3.13p.

Writing in the Independent on Saturday, private investor Sean O’Grady reminded readers that Matrix Communications (MXC.L) has risen by 25% since his punt on the stock about six weeks ago. Shares in the telecoms company continued to move higher on Monday, advancing by 0.5p to 165.5p.

The ‘taking stock’ column of the Sunday Telegraph recommended Oxus Mining (OXS) on the basis ot their good management and firm culture. The shares are also seen as a good way to gain exposure to gold, thus providing a portfolio hedge. The stock traded 0.25p higher on Monday at 55.25p.

The Questor column of Saturday’s Telegraph recapped on the financial troubles at Planestation (PTG) and concluded that the they are “for the brave only” and of the break up value being only 5p a share. Planestation’s shares stood still at 15.75p on Monday, ahead of funding news.

Ahead of today’s announcement, Monday’s edition of the Independent mentioned SectorGuard’s (SGD) acquisition of Choice Security Services for the sum of £106,000. News of the deal failed to move the shares on Monday, with the stock trading at 3.38p.

Again, ahead of today’s announcement, The Financial Times reported on Sopheon’s (SPE) achievement in being able to extend its relationship with chemical giant, BASF, who are extending their use of the Company’s Accolade product development system. News of the deal moved the shares 1.75p higher on Monday to 23.00p.
