Comment on Bits Group’s (BIT.L) Constantine game, linked to the Warner Bros film of the same name, makes it into Monday’s Independent and the games success is being closely tied to that of the film. The price increase of 0.88p to 10.63p in Monday morning’s trading could be a sign of further interpretation of this news.
This Weekend’s The Business comments on encouraging results from Electric Word (ELE). A doubling in turnover, improved profit and a strong cash position all point towards the fact that there is perhaps “further to go.” An increase of 1.00p sees their price move to 9.00p this morning.
Saturday’s Daily Express links the positive performance of Formjet (FMJ), in which Envesta Telecom (EVS) holds a stake, to the recent rise in the shares of the latter.
Flintstone Technologies Plc (FLT.L) featured in Monday’s Daily Express in which commentary is provided on investee company Hardide Ltd’s placing to raise £1.75m. The funds are said to be required for investment into the location of new customers and expansion, with a possible new site in Texas, America. The application of the Company’s innovative product to the Oil and Gas industry is summarised but consideration of a variety of further uses, within the aerospace arena for example, are also suggested. The shares were up 1.25 at 10.75p in trading this morning.10.75p could be seen as positive market sentiment following the placing and the Company’s future intentions.
Saturday’s Independent mentions the use of cash raised by Petrel Resources (PET) in development of the Company’s assets in Iraq and Jordan. The shares were up 0.50p at 51.50p.
ReGen Therapeutics’ (RGT) U.S. Patent win for its Colostrinin drug was credited by Saturday’s Daily Express for a boost in their price. However, in trading this morning the shares are down 0.03p at 1.95p.
An increase in Scotty Group’s shares was pinned on expectations, reported in Saturday’s Daily Express, of a possible Dutch order. Trading saw a rise of 0.33p to 3.25p. Sopheon Plc’s (SPE) recent Cadbury Schweppes contract win could be a boost to the shares, according to The Independent on Monday. The shares were up 2.75p at 32.75p.
