The Sunday Telegraph urged readers to “take a look at” African Diamonds (AFD) following encouraging test results from the Company. Rumours regarding the identity of its partner in the project as DeBeers and speculation that there is consideration of a buy out, conclude the Telegraph’s piece, with the paper recommending the shares as a “Buy.” Monday morning’s trading saw an increase of 3.50p to 62.5p. Interregnum (ITR.L) featured in Monday’s Daily Telegraph, which reports on the Company’s deal with DestiNY USA as an advisor on its 800-acre technology tourist park. Interregnum will assist in the sales model for the proposal, America’s largest construction project, and with raising funds for new-featured technology. Trading this morning saw an increase of 0.50p to 7.63p.
Maclellan Group (MLG) appeared in The Independent on Saturday, which reported on the likelihood of a takeover of the Group being inevitable as, even if the current deal doesn’t go ahead, it could well lead to similar scenarios in the future. The shares are unchanged at 81.25p.
Amidst much press coverage, Saturday’s Daily Mail provided commentary on Mean Fiddler (MEF.L) founder Vince Power’s plan to sell his 35% stake in the Company to American firm Clear Channel for £13m. The Daily Telegraph on Saturday went on to speculate that investors may be hesitant in interpreting this as good news following a similar situation in September 2004 when Power had a last minute change of heart. So far, the news appears to have had little effect on the share price, which remains at 54.5p this morning.
The Independent on Saturday speculated that Profile Media (PMD) is in need of more cash, with their current banking agreement running until May. This has been extended, however, which the article suggests could be an encouraging sign of a solution being in sight. Profile is trading at 0.83p this morning.
The Independent on Saturday mentioned Scotty Group’s (SCO) search for a new chairman. Currently unchanged at 3.25p. An increase to 13.50p for Sira Business Services (SIB.L) following news of a 14.50p-a-share offer from Securiplan was reported in Saturday’s Daily Telegraph.

Penny Shares Online - penny shares research and information service.
There is an extra risk of losing money when shares are bought in some smaller companies including 'Penny Shares'. There is a big difference between the buying price and the selling price of these shares. If they have to be sold immediately, you may get back much less than you paid for them or you may have difficulty in selling them. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The price may change quickly and it may go down as well as up. You could lose every penny put into a particular share.
