Penny Share Review 287

23 May 2005

Press

An admission that trading has proved difficult for Invox (INX.L) since earlier in the year caused a weakening in the share price, according to Saturday’s Independent and this view was shared by The Daily Telegraph on Saturday. Trading this morning compounded this theory, as the share price reduced by 8.50p to 120.50p.

The Sunday Express reported good news from Metals Exploration (MTL) in the shape of an upbeat drilling report form its interests in the Philippines. The results alluded to a potential 240 million tonnes of ore being present at a rate of 1.4 grams of gold per tonne. Nevertheless, this development was unable to change the share price, which remained at 9.88p during Monday Morning’s trading. Monday morning prices above were taken near to 10.00 on 23rd May 2005.

There is a big difference between the buying price and the selling price of these shares. If they have to be sold immediately, you may get back much less than you paid for them or you may have difficulty in selling them. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The price may change quickly and it may go down as well as up. You could lose every penny put into a particular share.
