1st Dental Laboratories (FDT) appeared in Saturday’s Express, which commented that ‘boardroom buying’ had assisted a share-price recovery following a fall in the shares after the announcement of pre tax losses last week. However, no further increase was seen during Monday morning’s trading, as the shares remained at 20.50p.

The Daily Express on Saturday also included comment on Access Intelligence (ACC) under its ‘Week of Dealing’ column, highlighting the FD’s purchase of 200,00 shares on Tuesday. The share price fell by 0.38p to 7.25p this morning. Dermasalve (DRM) comprised part of today’s Independent, reflecting on the Company’s move to sell lotion that protects against bacterial infection such as MRSA, announced this morning (please see below). The article noted that it is thought the initial focus will be on UK hospitals and the market appeared to interpret this news positively as the shares increased by 3.00p to 15.00p during this morning’s session.

The Financial Mail on Sunday stated that shares in Northern Petroleum (NOP) had been moving ahead steadily and by its calculations the market is still not appreciating the underlying value of the Company’s assets. The piece suggested that the shares could have further to go and an increase of 7.00p to 89.00p, witnessed this morning, seemed to support this view.

The Daily Express on Saturday included comment on Ultimate Finance (UFG), suggesting that a bullish outlook statement and hopes for strong half-year figures were unable to lift the share price. However, following the announcement of results today (please see below) the share price rose by 1.25p to 24.00p. Monday morning prices were taken around 10.00am on 13 March 2006.
