Penny Share Review 340

05 June 2006

The Financial Mail on Sunday pre empted today’s announcement by ADDLeisure (ADE) reporting a deal with PruHealth that will mean cheaper health cover for people who use Fitbug (please see below). The Company’s share price gained 0.25p this morning reaching 2.75p.

The Independent on Saturday featured IDN Telecom (IDN) under its “No Pain, No Gain” column, which reported the decline in the Company’s share price regardless of an increase in profits and payment of a dividend. The column stated that this could be due to former directors selling their holdings, but went on to say that the Company could be considering acquisitions and might emerge as the ideal replacement to MacLellan, due to depart soon. The share price enjoyed positive movement of 0.08p this morning reaching 2.30p.

The Daily Telegraph today reported the first acquisition for Mission Capital (MCAP), being Karspace, which was confirmed by this morning’s announcement (please see below). The share price rose by 0.13p to 6.88p during this morning’s session.

The Business this weekend tipped Subsea Resources (SUB), as a stock for the “speculator”, suggesting that the story contains every element that a stock punter could want; treasure maps, gold and sunken wrecks. The article went on to note that the Company plans to exploit new technology to recover cargos and following this press attention the share price moved ahead by 0.25p to 39.00p this morning.

Monday morning prices were taken between 9.00am and 10.00am on 5 June 2006.

Risk Warning

There is an extra risk of losing money when shares are bought in some smaller companies including 'Penny Shares'. There is a big difference between the buying price and the selling price of these shares. If they have to be sold immediately, you may get back much less than you paid for them or you may have difficulty in selling them. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The price may change quickly and it may go down as well as up. You could lose every penny put into a particular share.
