PENNY SHARE REVIEW 355 CoffeeHeaven (COH) appeared in the “Week of Dealing” section of the Daily Express on Saturday, commenting that the shares are up two-thirds and Non Executive Chairman, Bill Curie, has added 300k shares to take his stake to almost 10%. The share price remained unchanged at 31.5p this morning.

Saturday’s Times reported that shares in Computer Software Group (CSW) had increased following Seymour Pierce’s decision to upgrade its earnings forecast by 6% and its price target to 150p. This momentum seemed to spill over into Monday morning’s trading, where the share price added a further 2.5p to 115p.

The Daily Mail on Saturday reported that shares in Essentially Group (ESN) moved forward following “satisfactory” interim results and a bolt-on acquisition. The share price was unchanged at 16.75p this morning.

SmartFocus (STF) featured under the “Rumour of the day” section of Saturday’s Times, which remarked that Tuesday’s H1 figures could trigger forecast upgrades. Arbuthnot, the house broker, predicts 2006 PBT of £1.2m on sales of £9.2m, but the article suggested that evidence of contract wins and the smooth integration of acquisitions could see these numbers rise. The share price increased by 1.00p to reach 20.00p this morning. The prices given above were taken between 9.33am and 9.57am on 18 September 2006.
