Penny Share Review 391

Monday 04 June 2007

Interactive Gaming Holdings (IGH) appeared in the Sunday Express, which commented that the Company had suffered a double blow with John Heaton leaving and the shares being suspended, as it failed to produce annual results on time. The shares remain suspended.

The Sunday Times included Lohnro Africa (LONR), highlighting its planned Zimbabwean investment vehicle, LonZim. The article stated that though this is somewhat controversial, due to Robert Mugabe’s rule and the economic collapse of the county, Chairman David Lenigas believes that, economically speaking, the only way is up and that private foreign investment is the best way to bring the country out of poverty. Apparently a number of investment opportunities have been identified, particularly in the commercial property sector. The share price was unchanged at 33.00p this morning.

The Daily Express on Saturday reported an upturn in the share price of Screen FX (SFX) following a placing that raised £1m. However, the price dropped by 0.015p to 0.375p earlier today.

In an article that follows the progress of an amateur share club, The Times on Saturday featured Twenty (TWE), which it described as a tiny company with an interesting story behind it. The piece gave an overview of the business, noting its early backing by Vincent Tchenguiz, and commented that it continues to excite professional shareholders. The treasurer of the club, Barry Wilkinson, thinks the shares could go to 25p in 3 to 6 months and movement in that direction was noted earlier today, as the shares increased by 0.50p to 19.75p.

Saturday’s Independent commented that UniVision (UVE.L) was expected to announce orders worth around £2.5m, which it hoped to put some “zip” back into the share price. This proved to be the case (please see below), as the shares added 0.375p to reach 2.625p following the announcement this morning.

The prices above were taken between 10.15am and 10.58am on Monday, 04 June 2007.
