According to The Independent on Saturday, traders were scratching their heads regarding shares in Black Rock Oil and Gas (BLR), as they increased ahead of an update, despite fairly bearish sentiment that the increase had been overdone. Nevertheless, the gains spilled over into Monday morning’s trading, as a further 0.50p was added to reach 53.50p.

The Daily Express on Saturday remarked traders reckoned Dermasalve Sciences (DRM) could be close to winning two contracts, accounting for a rise in its share price. Further gains were witnessed during this morning’s sessions, where the shares added 0.125p to reach 8.25p.

In an article concerning “China Stocks”, today’s Independent commented that Griffin Mining (GFM) was one of a few success stories among AIM listed Asia shares, having enjoyed steady growth since joining the market. The same article noted a fall in the share price of London Asia Capital (LDC) from last year’s peak of 25.5p to 7.5p. Both shares were unchanged this morning at 109.50p and 7.50p respectively.

Saturday’s Daily Express highlighted that a rebound in the share price of In Cup Plus (ICU) was on hopes that it had taken on a new broker to arrange a fundraising. The price remained 1.75p during earlier trading today.

John McClure of Unicorn Asset Management was a guest writer in the Daily Mail on Saturday. The last time he had written the column was just under a year ago, when he highlighted Lupus Capital (LUP) and this time he reflected on the Company’s growth over that time. Following this attention, the share price gained 0.25p, reaching 16.25p earlier this morning.
