Braemar Group (BRG) appeared in the ‘Small Caps’ section of The Times on Saturday, commenting on a fall in the share price following Friday’s results, which noted the property slowdown could impact full-year numbers. There was no further change to price this morning, which remained 1.75p.

Upturn in the share price of Encore Oil (EO..L) was noted in Saturday’s Times, after the Company announced its gas storage feasibility study, suggesting that it could create the UK’s biggest gas store. This positive momentum appeared to spill over into early trading today, where the shares added 1.75p to reach 37.50p.

The Daily Telegraph today included an article on Simon Brickles, CEO of Plus Markets (PMK), in which he was quoted as having no regrets after walking away from the Project Turquoise deal. Mr Brickles aims to expand PLUS to start trading large cap stocks, moving away from being viewed as just a small cap market, and believes the MiFID directive and the Company’s new trading platform will assist in this goal. Following this press attention, the share price improved by 0.25p to 20.50p earlier. The prices above were taken at 11.18am on Monday, 26 November 2007.
