Claims People (CLM) featured in Saturday’s Daily Express, noting talk that the Company has improved its profits, moving from interim levels of £10,000 to around £100,000 for the year, but this was unable to move the share price. However, earlier today, the shares added 0.075p to reach 1.55p.
The Daily Express on Saturday commented that Croma Group (CMG) was one of the market’s top performers, suggesting a “bullish trading update” is likely to accompany results due later in the month. The positive performance continued this morning, where the share price added a further 0.25p to reach 4.25p.
A fall in the price of DawMed Systems (DSY) was reported in The Times on Saturday, after Friday’s trading statement warned of full-year losses, due to IT system integration delays and NHS funding issues. A delay to the publication of accounts was also reported. Nevertheless, there was an upturn in the share price during earlier trading today, which increased by 0.50p to 3.50p.
A profile of Intelligent Environments (IEN) CEO Philip Blundell appeared in today’s Daily Telegraph. The piece reviewed developments at the business, including its growth to a £155m market cap during the tech boom and subsequent fall from these levels, and cited Blundell’s belief of future growth, despite the current economic climate. He noted that credit card rejection levels had remained fairly stable, but that the business had seen a sharp increase in people investing into savings accounts. The article suggested that by 2010, 70% of people will use online banking, which should drive demand for the Company’s software. Following this press attention, the share price rose by 0.25p to 7.875p.
Saturday’s Times and Independent both highlighted a fall in the price of Reflec (REF), after a drop in profits was reported in its results statement last week. There was some recovery in the price during Monday morning’s trading, which was 1.00p healthier at 15.00p.

Penny Shares Online - penny shares research and information service.
There is an extra risk of losing money when shares are bought in some smaller companies including 'Penny Shares'. There is a big difference between the buying price and the selling price of these shares. If they have to be sold immediately, you may get back much less than you paid for them or you may have difficulty in selling them. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The price may change quickly and it may go down as well as up. You could lose every penny put into a particular share.
