Advanced Medical Solutions (AMS) appeared in yesterday’s Observer, highlighted by Fund Manager Judith Mackenzie under the headline “Small Cap Sleepers”, who noted the $15bn global wound-care market. Despite this press attention though, the shares remained unchanged at 24.00p earlier today.
Today’s Independent suggested that Capital Ideas (CAPT) (the old Leisure Ventures) might be worth ‘keeping an eye on’, after rises in the share price followed news of a profit on its investment in Australian organisation Primary Water. The Times on Saturday also reported this, though The Independent went on to highlight that the Company had emerged as backing the consortium that bought Dateline and has invested in its next venture, a technology business, which apparently should be announced in the next month. Nevertheless, there was no further increase in the share price this morning, which stayed 0.425p.
The prices above were taken at 9.32am on Monday, 7 January 2008.

Penny Shares Online - penny shares research and information service.
There is an extra risk of losing money when shares are bought in some smaller companies including 'Penny Shares'. There is a big difference between the buying price and the selling price of these shares. If they have to be sold immediately, you may get back much less than you paid for them or you may have difficulty in selling them. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The price may change quickly and it may go down as well as up. You could lose every penny put into a particular share.
