Accompanied with a picture of England all-rounder Dimitri Mascarenhas, whom Essentially Group (ESN) represents, we learn of a Boardroom shake-up from the Sunday Times, with Dwight Mighty promoted from Chief Financial Officer to Chief Operating Officer, along with the appointment of Matthew Vandrau as business development director. The Board changes were confirmed by the Group today and the share price responded by ticking up 0.25p to 12.75p.

The Observer highlighted African Eagle (AFE) as a ‘tiddler to watch’ in its ‘Market Forces’ column on Sunday. The paper noted the Company has some deep-pocketed partners, including Randgold and of broker Seymour Pierce’s buy note, at up to 23p. The stock traded unchanged this morning at 8.13p.

Monday’s Financial Times noted that after an unexpected profits warning earlier in the year from Chromogenex (CGX), caused by Canadian licence issues, it now hopes to have resolved the problem and put its revenue projections back on track. Shares in the Group stayed level today at 3.13p.
