The Times on Saturday provided comment on various small companies this week in its ‘Business Need to Know’ section.
The paper featured Artisan (ART), reiterating the Company’s trading statement on Friday, which noted results are expected to be substantially below expectations, following a review of its land bank and portfolio. The shares were unchanged at 29.00p this morning, however.
On a more upbeat note, encouraging gas shows from the Sugarloaf block, announced by Empyrean Energy (EME) last week, were highlighted, though there was no change in the share price of 33.50p earlier today.
The section also included Symphony Environmental (SYM), drawing attention to the fact that the Company had raised £140,000 in a placing last week to reduce its indebtedness. The stock was unchanged at 4.00p during early trading today. Prices above were taken at around 10:31am on Monday, 4 August 2008.

Penny Shares Online - penny shares research and information service.
There is an extra risk of losing money when shares are bought in some smaller companies including 'Penny Shares'. There is a big difference between the buying price and the selling price of these shares. If they have to be sold immediately, you may get back much less than you paid for them or you may have difficulty in selling them. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The price may change quickly and it may go down as well as up. You could lose every penny put into a particular share.
